A wood netsuke of a Shishi by Toshimaru (利丸).
Observers of netsuke-art will recognise the form of this netsuke instantly, that of Tigers by Otomitsu (Otoman). Toshimaru has merely transposed the Tiger for Shishi, with of course, a few artistic twists.
